What are your rates & how much do you charge per square metre?
Ocean Design prices all of its work after visiting site. All prices vary & very much depend on type of preparation, material, surface, amount of cutting, size of tiles etc. All of these factors make a huge difference to the amount of work involved. All work is guaranteed & all quotations are free & valid for 3 months.
How soon can you start the work?
As soon as our quotation is agreed we will agree a mutually agreeable start date
When do you visit for quotation purposes?
We work from Monday to Saturday & sometimes on Sunday's depending on schedules & deadlines. We try to visit our prospective clients on weekday evenings or weekends.This suits most clients but don’t worry if your not available, we will always try to arrange a visit when it is convenient for you.
Do you supply the tiles, paint & materials ?
We supply the labour & can supply the tiles & paint. We do not sell tiles or paint, although we can source tiles for you. We can also supply the primers, adhesives, grouts & sealants etc. required for your job. Unless you already have your own. We do not charge for collecting materials & can usually collect your tiles too if required. We use & will only use the marked leading products in adhesives, grouts & sealants etc. which offer many years guarantee.
Can you take my existing tiles off the walls & dispose of ?
Yes we can, please let us know when we visit you & we will put the additional labour cost & waste disposal separately in your quotation. It cost's us a fee when tipping at the local authority waste disposal site so this has to be passed onto the customer, it may be more economic for the customer to tip them in the boot of the car & go but less convenient so its completely up to you. You will also need to think about how stable your walls are behind the tiles as removing them may result in damaging the plaster behind & as they need to be sound for tiling they may need plastering again.
